Abstract
The objective of this study is to analyze Characteristic of farm structures and the role of farming as a part of farmers’ livelihoods. Agriculture remains an essential element of lives of many farmers in term of the strong cultural and symbolic values that attach current working generation to do. And We found three mains characteristic of farm structure presenting in the study areas and trendy in farm management practices in the region including 1) Poo Jad Kan, 2) mix family labors with hire labors, and 3) not hire labors. The young generation is leaving the agricultural sector; this leads to less interest in investing in farm activities including SLM.
